HOW WOULD YOU BRIEFLY DESCRIBE WHAT YOUR BRAND IS/DOES?

Kape Mart is a well-curated secondary market that sells used stuff. We sell stuff that is related to street/streetwear culture which we really love. We sell some brands that come from around the world. Besides, we also have a sub-division called Kape Collective that we create as a medium to reach the goal of our vision which is “giving back” to the community. In brief, we are not only selling stuff but we also create movements, share knowledge, and support each other to elevate the street culture.

WHAT IS YOUR BRAND NAME AND WHY DO YOU CHOOSE THAT NAME?

Kape is an abbreviation of the Sundanese words “Karek Dipake” in Bahasa Indonesia means “Baru Dipakai”. We choose that name simply because it represents the stuff that we sell which is used stuff. But as time goes by, we also sell brand new and local brand stuff which have the same spirit we carry.

WHAT IS YOUR BRAND’S MISSION? CRAFT A CLEAR EXPRESSION OF WHAT YOUR COMPANY IS MOST PASSIONATE ABOUT.

Selling and giving. Two words that simply can describe the big picture of what our brand’s mission is. Since the first day we were born, Kape Mart commits to supporting local movements. We put the business and the feedback to the community on the same hand. We always keep it balanced. Thus, we want to lift each other in the community by supporting them. It is in line with the campaign that we already run and the future campaign that we want to cook. We fully realized that we can grow this far because of the support of the community.

WHAT IS THE FUTURE VISION FOR YOUR BRAND?

We want to expand more both on the business side and the movement side. We want to run a bigger shop that can be a place for people and local brands to put their ideas and display their stuff.

We want to support more movements. We want to create more exhibitions and archive more stuff. We want to take a role in the scene.
